Career Journey
From Colesberg to Bloemfontein
Originally from Colesberg, Dr Conradie has called Bloemfontein home for many years. She matriculated from Eunice High School in 2000 and completed her medical degree (MBChB) at the University of the Free State in 2005.
Her early career was spent gaining broad clinical experience at several major hospitals, including Kimberley Hospital, Bongani Hospital in Welkom, and National Hospital in Bloemfontein. It was during this time that her passion for ophthalmology deepened, leading her to specialise and qualify as an ophthalmologist in 2014.
Since 2015, Dr Conradie has worked in private practice at Pasteur Eye Hospital, where she continues to provide high-quality care to patients across the Free State and beyond. Her experience has also been enriched by time spent at Groote Schuur and Red Cross Children’s Hospitals in Cape Town, where she expanded her expertise in strabismus under the guidance of Professor Anthony Murray.
Today, she combines her medical expertise with a calm, understanding approach, ensuring every patient receives the care and clarity they deserve.
